When you do lots of soldering indoors, a Carbon Filter is essential for absorbing solder smoke leavinng your work environment smelling fresh and reducing the amount of potentially toxic fumes you breath while working
These filters measure approximately 13cm x 13cm but can be easily trimmed down to any size just using a standard pair of scissors or a utility knife. This filter fits in most of the standard fan based solder smoker filters or you can simply just purchase a 12V 120mm computer fan, cut down the filter and zip tie it to the front.
Bring your smoke filter close to your work area and ensure it is pulling the air through the filter and exhausting out the other side of the fan
