- Hot melt glue sticks are; well... hot. Very hot. When using them on your projects ensure that you are using appropriate safety equipment and ensure the hot glue does not come in contact with your skin
- Hot glue may drip from the glue gun during operation. Ensure that the glue gun is located on a flame proof sacrificial surface
- Turn off gun when not in use
